Training

ILM's principal aim is to provide high-quality, relevant training for those working in the field of legacy admininstration.  The Institute provides various levels of training:

  • The ILM Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration, created and run in association with the College of Law.  This gives you a professionally recognised qualification which will:
     - achieve professional and unified responses to estate problems;
     - further your career path in legacy administration;
     - increase your standing in the legal profession.
  • Regular day or half-day courses and seminars on specific topics run by leading Legacy Officers, an invaluable forum for meeting and networking with fellow professionals.
  • An annual meeting for discussion of topical issues, the Charity Legacy Officers Meeting.
  • Occasional special events, such as the ILM Symposium on Probate Fraud.

ILM is also delighted to be associated with the following annual events:   Wilsons' Annual Seminar for Charity Legacy Officers, and Withers Legacy Labyrinth.
